What We Do

After a simple qualification process, the vet usually has a check in hand within 24 hours. The help we provide is anonymous, personal, discrete, and honorable. We’re not a government agency. We’re not the VA. We understand fellow vets. We don’t ask anything from them. We simply verify their status, and then provide them with urgently needed relief. There are no administrative costs. Every penny received goes directly to a vet in need!

As long as there are veterans in need, our mission is not fully accomplished. But we can’t do it alone. Here are three easy ways you can be a hero for these heroes… (1) Tell people you know at work, in your neighborhood, at your civic club, or at church that there is a new local non-profit that is actively serving local vets, and doesn’t burden them with red tape. (2) Refer a veteran to the Florence Veterans’ Relief Agency at the phone number below. (3) Contribute.

A financial gift of any size from you enables even more local veterans to pay for a doctor’ or dentist appointment, pay their electric bill, get a new pair of shoes, afford an auto repair, or move into a better situation.
